 | DUB SPECIALIST Roots Dub (Monster rare 1975 first issue 10-track
vinyl LP, housed in a wonderful silk screened picture sleeve.
Incredible reggae rarity from Studio One Records, released as part of
a series of killer '70s dub excursions, all credited to the mysterious
'Dub Specialist'. In reality this album is the work of the legendary
Clement Coxsone Dodd backed by a crack squad of uncredited
rhythm killers, although most likely to be Sound Dimension, includes
the reggae/funk hybrid'Granny Scratch Scratch which was featured on
the Soul Jazz 100% Dynamite compilation. The delicate sleeve [and
what a sleeve it is] is in excellent condition showing only light edgwear
and some minor discolouration to the reverse, and apart from a small
pressing bump on the very edge of the run-in groove [which has no
affect on play] the vinyl is in great shape with no scratches or
hairlines - you never find any Studio One LP in this shape, let alone an
album of this rarity - grab it while it's hot DB116)
