MUSIC INC. / CHARLES TOLLIVER The Ringer (Rare 1969 UK 5-track vinyl LP, the masterful trumpeter is at the peak of his powers as part of a quartet with pianist Stanley Cowell, bassist Steve Novosel, and drummer Jimmy Hopps, fully laminated picture sleeve. The sleeve shows a tiny thumbnail tear along the opening egde [very minimal] and otherwise just some minimal wear, the vinyl is Near Mint)

CHARLES TOLLIVER Live In Tokyo (Scarce 1974 US 5-track LP issued on the pioneering artist-owned jazz label, Strata-East (co-founded by Tolliver), recorded live at the Yubinchokin Hall, Tokyo the previous year, with Stanley Cowell on piano, ClintHouston bass & Clifford Barbaro drums. The gatefold sleeve is laminated, heavyweight & gatefold, and despite a 1" split in the top seam the print is perfectly legible and unblemished - the vinyl is near mint SES-19745)
