The sleeve is in VG+ condition, with just a little light edge wear. The vinyl is in excellent condition with few signs of play W1570)

BARBARA MCNAIR Front Row Center (Scarce 1959 US 12-track deep groove mono vinyl LP, the debut longplayer by the soul singer/actress, now famed for several big hitters on the northern soul scene. The pasted picture sleeve is in VG+ condition with just a little faint signs of stress at the edges. The vinyl is clean & easily meets a VG+ grading, with just a few light paper scuffs to indicate play CRL57209)

Tracklisting: A1 Old Devil Moon A2 Hello Young Lovers A3 Love Is A Simple Thing A4 Alone Together A5 Whatever Lola Wants A6 My Heart Belongs To Daddy B1 If I Were A Bell B2 The Party's Over B3 Always True To You In My Fashion B4 And This Is My Beloved B5 I've Got A Crush On You B6 Steam Heat
BARBARA MCNAIR The Real Barbara McNair (1969 US promotional 12-track stereo LP on a custom black on white Motown label with 'Audition Copy - Not For Sale' print. Rarely is this album found or spoken about anymore but WOW, playback reveals one ofthe finest voices in the Soul business, it's a great shame Barbara's name is not more widely known. Comes complete with the original pasted sleeve with a close-up Playboy photo on the front & a 'Disc Jockey Copy' stamp on the back. Thesleeve [VG] has a few splits around the edges, including the spine, so often the way with US jackets of this vintage. The vinyl grades VG+ with some light marks not affecting play. The album sounds fantastic with interesting stereo techniques for a late sixties release, such a lovely, lovely record! MS-680DJ)

Tracklisting: A1 Where Would I Be Without You A2 You Could Never Love Him (Like I Love Him) A3 Who Invented Heartache A4 The Hunter Gets Captured By The Game A5 You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' A6 Forget You Ever Met Me Baby B1 I Hear A Symphony B2 When I'm Gone B3 What Now My Love B4 It Happens Every Time B5 Just One Teardrop (From A Broken Heart) B6 If You Can Want
