issue, this copy has had all references to 'Columbia' blacked out, with
a CBS sticker over the logo on the back. Despite a little ringwear &
some edge scuffing, the sleeve still remains very acceptable & the
vinyl too remains excellent with few signs of its forty five years

delivers the goods on this, his masterpiece, now considered a 'new
jazz' classic of the 60s. The front laminated sleeve shows just a little
discolouring at the edges & the vinyl reveals only light signs of play)

5-track LP, aslo featuring Jaki Byard on Piano & Alto, Ron Carter on
Bass & Charlie Persip on Drums, pasted picture sleeve reproducing the
original Candid artwork. Billed as 'Third Stream Jazz', this album
contains the side long 'Improvisational Suite #1' & the whole thing was
recorded simultaneously onto two track stereo & single track mono &
cut directly from those master tapes. The sleeve shows just a little light
wear & the vinyl remains in excellent condition with just light surface
scuffs to show for its forty years BR-5020)
