In 1964, Max Scheler & Astrid came to London to watch the Beatles filming A Hard Day's Night & the photographic journey that they made then is the basis for these magnificent books, with introduction by Astrid. Each copy is personally signed & numbered by Astrid Kirchherr and Max Scheler, master-printed in black and gold & hand-bound in black buckram with one of five photographs mounted on the front. The books are then housed in a sturdy two-colour silk-screened buckram slip case. In addition, this set comes with the extremely limited edition individually numbered outer slipcase box designed to hold both volumes. A fantastic pair of books to the high quality that we have come to take for granted from Genesis!)
