BLUENECK Scars Of The Midwest (2011 German 8-track vinyl LP reissue of the band’s critically acclaimed 2006 debut album, a haunting and cinematic post-rock statement that firmly established the UK outfit's brooding, melancholic sound. Combining sparse piano motifs, ambient guitar textures, and gradual crescendos, the album evokes a deep emotional resonance, drawing comparisons to the likes of Mogwai, Explosions In The Sky, and Sigur Rós.
