THE STAN TRACEY QUARTET Jazz Suite - Inspired By Dylan Thomas's Under Milk Wood (British Jazz 1965 UK first press 8-track MONO LP on the blue & black Columbia label, released as part of Denis Preston's collectable Lansdowne Series. Also starsBobby Wellins on Tenor, Jeff Clyne on Bass & Jack Dougan on Drums for this date inspired by Dylan Thomas's radio play, full of masterful interplay, including the beautifully restrained 'Starless & Bible Black', the original sixties instrumental version in all its glory, front laminated flipback picture sleeve with Emitex inner. The sleeve is Excellent with minimal shelf wear & the vinyl is clean & in Excellent condition with few signs of play. Recommended 33SX1774)
