JOHN COLTRANE My Favourite Things (2022 UK/EU issue 7-track stereo vinyl LP, originally recorded in 1960 alongside McCoy Tyner, Steve Davis, and Elvin Jones, and the first time Coltrane played soprano saxophone on record. The album opens withhis legendary compostion Giant Steps and finishes off the a-side with a modal reworking in 6/4 time of the Rodgers-Hammerstein title track, bringing a hypnotic Indian 'raga' feel to jazz unlike anything before. Gatefold picture sleeve with extensive liner notes inside the gatefold. The sleeve and vinyl remain in Near Mint condition)
