DAVE BARKER Curious (Rare UK original 12" on late 70's British reggae label Paradise, a subsidiary of Third World. Featuring Curious Version on the B side, this is a neat slice of Lover's Rock reggae. This example was found buried inside a boxof records from a shop clearance we undertook many decades ago, it literally hasn't seen light of day for almost 40 years. A beauty!)

David John Crooks aka Dave Barker is a Jamaican deejay and singer born 1948 in Kingston. Dave Barker started his singing career in the group Two Tones with his two friends Brenton Matthews and Fathead. Barker then sang for a short while with The Techniques alongside Winston Riley and Bruce Ruffin before forming the duo Glen And Dave together with Glen Brown.
