'Round About Midnight

MILES DAVIS 'Round About Midnight (1957 UK 6-track vinyl on the black & silver Philips label, comprised of recording sessions from October 1955 and June & September 1956; this was Davis' debut longplayer for Columbia, and features the legendary musician backed by an astounding quartet comprised of John Coltrane [tenor sax], Red Garland [piano], Paul Chambers [bass] and Philly Joe Jones [drums], fully laminated flipback picture sleeve. This copy was obtained from the collection of an ex-Philips employee and despite scuffing to the front, a split to one flipback and a little laminate loss/peeling to the opening edge, the heavyweight vinyl is Near Mint and in all possibility never played - a stunner)
