DONALD BYRD Electric Byrd (Rare 1970 US Blue Note 4-track stereo vinyl LP produced by Duke Pearson - original Van Gelder pressing with second issue 'Blue/black' label design. Features Airto Moreira on percussion lending a Brazilian-tinged feelin places that predates his involvement with Return To Forever. There is a strong Bitches Brew influence to the whole LP which is unmistakable yet not necessarily a bad thing. What is produced is rather beautiful; a drifting, jarring, electricsoundwash of high-quality fusion music, not to be missed. Pasted picture sleeve is in excellent shape showing just a little corner wear; the vinyl is Excelent with light play only BST84349)
