DONALD BYRD Black Byrd (1973 UK 7-track vinyl LP, laminated picture sleeve. Superb Larry Mizell produced masterpiece that saw Byrd embracing the new emerging funk sound [much to the dismay of the jazz purists], it went on to be one of Blue Notes biggest ever selling releases. The sleeve shows just some minor laminate rippling and the vinyl looks barely played - a top copy and the first original we've ever had! BNLA047)
