JOHN FAHEY America (2009 US limited edition double 180gram Heavyweight Vinyl LP issue of the extended 13-track 1998 reissue of his 1971 album. The 'America' sessions yielded over 80 minutes of music and John was worried that a double album wouldn’t sell. Originally planned to be a double-LP, almost half of the material was cut and it was released as the 4-track single LP. The heavy duty gatefold picture sleeve shows a little to the opening edge but is individually hand-numbered on the back and comes complete with an integral picture booklet while the two heavy discs remain in barely played condition!)
