QUICKSAND Quicksand (1990 US 4-track 7" vinyl EP - regarded a classic post-hardcore release this is Quicksand's debut, featuring Walter Schreifels of Gorilla Biscuits fame who later went onto to form emo-rock stars Rival Schools. Also featuring Sergio Vega [currently playing bass with The Deftones]. This EP epitomises the early to mid 90's US alternative rock/punk sound, fueled by heartfelt angst and packaged with 'big' guitars! Featuring Cleanslate, Hypno Jam With Dan and the tracksOmission and Unfulfilled that would later be re-recorded and play a big part in getting the band signed to Polydor, 'presidents busts' picture sleeve complete with aqua and qhite coloured fold-out illustrated lyric insert.
