MILES DAVIS QUINTET Cookin' (1985 Japanese 4-track mono CD album reissued and remastered for the 'Prestige CD Masterpiece Series' this is no. 7 in the set, originally recorded October 26th 1956 at Van Gelder Studio, Hackensack, New Jersey andfeaturing the classic quintet lineup of John Coltrane, Red Garland, Paul Chambers & Philly Joe Jones. Picture sleeve reproducing the original 1957 LP cover artwork, with 12-page Japanese booklet, credits and tracklist in Japanese and English, also includes Japanese record company catalogue fold-out insert, inlay all housed in a jewel case VDJ-1512)
