THE CONGOS Heart Of The Congos (1996 UK double vinyl reissue of the classic '70s Jamaican 10-track LP with two extra tracks; At The Feast and Nicodemus, picture sleeve. Absolute stone cold classic roots reggae album produced by Lee 'Scratch' Perry at the legendary Black Ark studios, featuring the close harmonies of the Congos over top of a rock solid rhythm section created by Sly Dunbar, Boris Gardiner, Ernest Ranglin and Winston Wright, gatefold picture sleeve. The sleeve shows the lightest amount of sheflwear, evident upon close inspection. The vinyl is pristine apart from a single small cosmetic scuff which cannot be felt to the touch and does not have any impact on play. A stunning example, the best we have ever seen BAFLP009)
