THE DAMNED New Rose (Debut 22 October 1976 UK first press
7" single on Stiff, historically the very first British punk rock
single to be released. Also includes 'Help', housed in the
original flipback picture sleeve with 'Delga' printing credit on
the left hand flipback. The four-prong centre is intact & there
is a serrated lip round edge to the label, with the original
'Street Music Co.' publishing credit on the A-side only. The
catalogue number is machine stamped in the run-outs with all
other run-off notations done freehand, reading: A side: BUY 6
A 1U IS THIS A RECORD? A BILBO BOPPER! B side: BUY 6 B 1U
DAMNED BEATLES BILBO MASTER ROOM. These are thought to
be the initial pressing of 4000. The picture sleeve is nice &
clean with just a little wear at the opening edge and very
minor edge scuffs, with intact four prong centre, the vinyl is in
near mint condition [just a small pressing 'blister' in the
run-out grooves on each side]. Now extremely hard to find in
