WAYNE SHORTER Night Dreamer (1964 US first press 6-track mono LP on the 'New York USA' address label, with the 'ear' markings & the 'Van Gelder' stamps in the run-outs. This was Shorter's debut album for Blue Note, expertly backed by Lee Morgan, McCoy Tyner, Reginald Workman & Elvin Jones for a set of Shorter originals. This copy originates from the private collection of a former staff member for Dobells record shop in Charing Cross, London. The pasted picture sleeve grades VG, with some age foxing on the back & with all text legible, including along the spine. The original UK tax import sticker is attached on the back. The cover otherwise shows just a little edge discolouring & a few scuff marks in the paper around the edge [very mild paper crease on the front]. The vinyl grades Excellent & is super clean with very few signs of play & stunning sound performance & comes complete with the original catalogue inner BLP4173)
