HARVEY MANDEL Cristo Redentor (1968 US first issue 10-track stereo LP on the black Philips label, the debut album by the psychedelic blues guitarist [& pioneer of "backwards" guitar!], who has chalked up playing for Canned Heat, The Rolling Stones & John Mayall on his resume. Includes a mind bending version of Wade In The Water plus the Donald Byrd title track, great psychedelic picture sleeve with deletion drill-hole top right. The cover has an unfortunate 2" split in the top edge& a 1" split to the bottom edge, otherwise shows light ringwear only & the vinyl is Excellent with just a few faint paper hairlines to show play. Recommended PHS600-281)
