JOHN COLTRANE Live At Birdland (1965 Spanish first press 5-track deep groove stereo LP, on a black & red label with four 'Impulse!' logos around the rim & the 'Hispavox' logo at the top. Documents a powerhouse performance of Trane at Birdlandin October & November of '63 alongside McCoy Tyner, Jimmy Garrison & Elvin Jones, opening with the ten minute marvel, Afro-Blue. The gatefold sleeve is heavyweight, pasted, laminated & US manufactured with an 'Estereo' sticker on the front forthe Spanish market. The cover is Excellent with no splits & minimal signs of wear. The vinyl grades EX/EX- with just the very lightest few paper scuffs not affecting play AS-50)
