JOHN COLTRANE The Legendary Masters (Limited Edition 1988 Italian 29-track five LP box set, a wonderful collection of unissued & rare recordings of the premier jazz saxophonist, spanning 1951 through to 1965. Features live recordings from Birdland, Cafe Bohemia & The Village Vanguard in NYC as well as The Blue Note, Philadelphia & further afield in Europe, including radio broadcasts, with each part housed in a gold embossed picture sleeve with matching slipcase box. The delicate box has some crease marks & there are two 2" hairline splits at the opening, the condition is otherwise superb & each vinyl disc is near mint with little evidence of play)
