RANDY WESTON Highlife (Rare Afro-Jazz 1963 US 7-track deep groove stereo LP on a gold Colpix label, one of the first American Jazz artists to present an album of Highlife, the highly rhythmic tribal music of West Africa. Opens with a tribute to a Lagos nightclub owner ['Caban Bamboo Highlife'], & ends on a Guy Warren composition ['Mystery Of Love'], including such exotic numbers like 'Niger Mambo', 'Zulu' & 'Blues To Africa' along the way, pasted sleeve with small number annotation on the back. The cover shows some faint scuffing or mild patches of age yellowing, with all print legible & no splits. The vinyl is Excellent with light evidence of play only SCP-456)
