MILES DAVIS A Tribute To Jack Johnson (1971 first US issue LP on the 'six eye' Columbia label, a knockout tribute to the boxer, with two bouts of tough sidelength jazz-rock improv. Features superb interplay between Billy Cobham, John McLaughlin & Joe Henderson, killer grooves that never let up & wonderful attention to detail by cutting master Teo Macero, pasted picture sleeve with period catalogue inner. The sleeve shows only a little minor shelf wear & the vinyl is in VG+/EX- condition, with just a few faint paper scuffs not interfering with play KC30455)
