FOTHERINGAY Fotheringay (1970 New Zealand first press 9-track vinyl LP on a deep groove pink with white 'i' Island label, unique flipback picture sleeve variant. Drenched in the heaven sent vocals of the late Sandy Denny and including the sublime 'Banks Of The Nile', this is one album that there is no excuse not to own a copy of. This particular copy was pressed by Festival and is unusual in both the deep groove label and the flipback picture sleeve design that does not actually show any track information at all. Being unlaminated, the flimsy sleeve shows some obvious shelfwear with a small sticker stain on the back, but given its journey I think it can be forgiven. The vinyl is immaculate. Pristine. A hard to find pressing of a gem of an album in almost perfect playing condition SILPS-933920)
