PERE UBU Song Of The Bailing Man (1989 UK 11-track CD album, jewel case with lyric booklet sleeve. Originally released in 1982 as Ubu's 5th longplayer, and the first to feature Anton Fier who took over from Scott Krauss on drums - this release [their final work before disbanding for the first extended period until 1988] shows them moving even further towards 'art' and away from 'rock', at times inspired and invigorating, yet confounding and disturbing - in other words, classic Ubu!
