ADAM BEST Wall Of Sound (1970 UK 12-track vinyl LP - A graduate from the Royal Academy, Adam Best had been playing guitar, bass and drums on the pop scene for a number of years by this point and entered into the field with a knowledge of electronics and ability of a musician. In his rare spare time, he travelled around the country to listen to what types of music was popular, with the idea of providing music that was danceable and made pleasant listening. On completion of his debutalbum, he had the choice of labels wanting to release it. 'Wall of Sound' may well prove to be the most siginificant musical event of the '70s. Housed in a fully laminated picture sleeve which shows some wear to the edges, the vinyl looks barely played! SFLI3209)
