BLEEDING THROUGH Declaration (2008 German pressed for the European market 13-track vinyl LP, with picture sleeve, pressed on RED VINYLl, and still SEALED from new. Bleeding Through were in the middle ofa label crisis when recording this record. Their label at the time Trustkill was on the brink of demise, and the depature of long guitarist Scott Danough put the band in a difficult position. Enter Jona Weinhofen (I Killed The Prom Queen, Bring Me The Horizon) on guitar, and production duties handled by Devin Townsend and you have Declaration, a hardcore meets black metal monster. The guitars are devasting, the drumming pounding, and the eerie organs and keyboards add to the dark overtone of this album. Tracks like Orange County Blonde and Blue, and Death Anxiety are the perfect outlets for vocalist Brandan Schieppati to vent his anger. A fantastic record, by a band that unfortunately were far too underrated in the scenes, being too metal for hardcore, and too hardcore metal! - For fans of Bring Me The Horizon, Himsa, As I Lay Dying, and Unearth)
