MILES DAVIS Birth Of The Cool (1958 US issue of the classic 1956 11-track mono LP on the Capitol rainbow rim label, featuring early 1949 to early 1950 recording sessions that marked a turning point in jazz towards a more stylistic sound. Includesthe masterful 'Move' and 'Boplicity'. Despite a 2" hairline split in the top and bottom opening edge of the sleeve, there are no other signs of age and the vinyl looks like it's hardly ever seen a turntable! A wonderful play copy T762)
