MICHAEL GARRICK QUINTET featuring JOE HARRIOTT & SHAKE KEANE October Woman (Rare British jazz 1965 purple Argo label 10-track stereo LP, an early set from Garrick with his signature progressive leanings already in place, particularly on Anthem and Fairies Of Oneiros, with the former's 'free' blowing over a 5/4 pulse using only the notes of the scale on which the piece was built. Also stars Coleridge Goode on bass and Colin Barnes drums. Both the front laminated flipback sleeve and vinyl arein beautiful near MINT condition! Highly recommended ZDA33)
