KENNY DORHAM Quiet Kenny (Very rare and in demand original 1959 US 7-track deep groove mono vinyl LP on a purple New Jazz label with silver print, flat edge and 'RVG' stamper in the run-out. Also stars Tommy Flanagan on Piano, Paul Chambers on Bass and Arthur Taylor on Drums, for what was one of Dorham's greatest works outside of Blue Note. Pasted laminate picture sleeve. This monster rarity comes from a one-previous owner collection of jazz LPs that were purchased in the UK at the original time of release. This particular title was imported from America, purchased and stored away ever since.

The heavyweight sleeve has a turquoise tinted picture design and 'New Jazz 8225' catalogue number printed top right on the reverse. The sleeve shows barely any signs of edge wear and the spine is immaculate. There is no creasing and only the very lightest yellowing with age on the back.

The labels are clean, and reveal just the very faintest of spindle marks to indicate play. The vinyl looks to have been played once or twice only, with absolutely no scratches or blemishes. A beautiful near mint example!

Definitely a star item for those serious about their jazz collection: not to be missed.
