RICHARD & LINDA THOMPSON Shoot Out The Lights - Deluxe Edition (2010 US Rhino Handmade limited edition 19-track 2-CD set comprising of the original 8 track album originally produced and financed by Gerry Rafferty who'd toured with the Thompsons in 1980, this was at the time shelved, rerecorded the following year with producer Joe Boyd's independent Hannibal Records with several musicians from the Rafferty sessions—guitarist Simon Nicol, drummer Dave Mattacks, and bassist Pete Zorn—andrecorded six songs from the previous sessions plus two new songs. The Bonus disc documents the tumultuous tour with 11 never before released live performances, all but one taken from shows in San Francisco and Santa Cruz, California. Housed in a hardcover book with 40 pages of liner notes & photos with this copy still sealed)
