BEN OTTEWELL Shapes And Shadows (2011 UK 9-track CD album - Ben Ottewell is a member of acclaimed British rock band Gomez and the voice of some of their most beloved tunes, including 'Tijuana Lady', 'Revolutionary Kind' and 'How We Operate'. This is his debut solo album, born from a desire to create something with a strong sense of simplicity and purity, to get away from the full band electric sound of Gomez. The album draws on influences from other solo acts like Nick Drake, John Martyn and even early Paul Simon, as well as Led Zeppelin, The Red House Painters and the blues)
