THE FALL Live At The Witch Trials (2010 issue UK Deluxe Edition
2-CD set - The long, strange saga of The Fall, begins with 'Live At The
Witch Trials'. The group's 1979 debut album was recorded in-studio
[despite its title] during a single day, fully capturing the urgency of
both the times and the music. This Expanded Edition of the album
adds a myrid of Bonus Recordings. Accompanying the
original album on CD One are tracks which formed the 'Bingo Master's
Break-Out!' EP [originally released August 1978] followed by the
second single [originally issued November 1978]; along with a
summer 1977 rehearsal tape and live recordings from 1977,
previously issued on a Virgin Records compilation 'Short Circuit - Live
At The Electric Circus'. CD Two gathers together the two BBC Radio 1
John Peel Sessions that the band performed during this era followed
by a dozen tracks recorded at Mr. Pickwick's venue in Liverpool in
August of '78)
