SIGUR ROS Gobbledigook Remixes (2009 German exclusive limited edition 2-track 12" vinyl single; 'Gobbldigook' is the spectacular opener of Sigur Rós' 2008 album 'Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust', undeniably one of the most hymnic songs they've written thus far. Fellow Islanders President Bongo [of Gus Gus fame] and Jack Schidt couldn't resist transforming the complex, polyrhythmic original into an exceptionally ethereal club track. When the angelic voice of Jonsi Birgissonunfolds on a club soundsystem it really feels like you're in heaven! The ultraslim percussion groove takes over the tribalistic atmosphere of the original, but catapults it some hundred light years into the future. Thomas Fehlmann's Flowing remix on the flipside is nothing short of sensational!)
