Not a lot to say about this one really, suffice to say that in 1971 an anonymous bunchof session drunkards were lured into a recording studio & let loose on a selection of twelve military themed 'classics'. If you're looking for subtlety, please look elsewhere, as this dispenses with the double entendre most of the time & getsright down & dirty from the off. The picture on the sleeve tells you most of what you need to know, but these are the songs that kept our servicemen saluting. A suitable companion to the Rugby song themed albums that appeared in our shops at about the same time. PC it ain't, but it's a slice of Seventies near-the-knuckle humour that is unlikely to get a CD release! Both the front laminated picture sleeve & the vinyl are in excellent condition so, after me, 'Twas on the good ship Venus ...' SHM747)
