SPIRAL STAIRS The Real Feel (2009 UK Deluxe Edition 10-track LP pressed on 180gram VIRGIN VINYL - Former frontman of Preston School Of Industry, and guitarist, singer and founding member with Pavement, Scott Kannberg returns to our turntables with his first solo album, 'The Real Feel', credited to his long-running nom-du-rock, Spiral Stairs. Written in Seattle and Australia, the songs have a loose, late-night vibe, soulful ache and charmingly vulnerable optimism. Trackswere recorded with some of his former bandmates in Preston School of Industry, including bassist Matt Harris and drummer Darius Minwalla, as well as Jon Auer [The Posies, Big Star] and friends in Australia. Includes the single, 'Stolen Pills'. Presented in sealed & stickered gatefold sleeve complete with a download code and Bonus 2-track 7" vinyl single featuring the exclusive recordings 'Hey Folks Singa' & 'The Moodist' [not available anywhere else])
