Not only did the band write and record the film's themesong, entitled 'New Divide', they were also asked by Bay, Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer, and award-winning composer Steve Jablonsky to contribute to the score. The album also features music from Green Day [who contribute '21 Guns'], Taking Back Sunday, The Used, The All-American Rejects, Cavo, The Fray, Staind, Nickelback, Cheap Trick and more)
