MOTT THE HOOPLE Mott The Hoople (Rare 1969 US Atlantic promotional 8-track vinyl LP with custom printed white title labels - the band's debut album produced by Guy Stevens and featuring Rock And Roll Queen and Backsliding Fearlessly alongside versions of songs by Ray Davies, Sonny Bono and Doug Sahm, superb internal pasted textured 'Escher' gatefold picture sleeve. This copy was sourced from a radio DJ's collection and as such has a small filing sticker on the spine of the sleeve andthe previous owner's address stamped on the reverse, however these are relatively unobtrusive with the 'Promotional Copy' sticker on the front rather more prominent! The labels are also stamped but are otherwise bright and clean; the vinyl looks barely played, retaining a beautiful lustre nearly 40 years on! SD8258)
