BARCLAY JAMES HARVEST BBC In Concert 1972 (2009 UK 8-track CD album - Barclay James Harvest were one of the first signings to EMI's Harvest record label and actually gave their name to the label. Their music blends art rock and classical visions, successfully creating melodic 'underground' tunes, featuring lots of mellotron, earthy guitar and fantastic, harmonic vocals. These BBC recordings [a mixture of the original stereo and mono recordings] from 1972 have been digitally remasteredfrom the original BBC analogue tapes, which have until now been gathering dust in the BBC archives. The recordings were made with the Barclay James Harvest Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Martyn Ford, at the Paris Theatre, Lower Regent Street, London on 16th November 1972.)
