U2 The Joshua Tree (Official Canadian DIAMOND Award issued to commemorate Canadian sales in excess of ONE MILLION units of the album, presented to one of Canada's premiere radio stations in October 1987. Diamond status exceeds both Gold and Platinum and this award recognizes the supreme and elusive achievement in the U2 legacy. This expertly framed and glazed award measures 16" x 26" in size, features a vinyl LP with the Compact Disc and cassette mounted above the authentic, custom-engraved Island Records in-house dedication plaque. Canada has always been very supportive of U2, and this award serves to recognize U2's impact, as well as their enduring critical and commercial success. Canadian awards rarely appear for sale on the open market, and this stunning and exclusive award is certainly most worthy among the collectables of the most ardent U2 aficionados!)
