MARS The Complete Studio Recordings NYC 1977-1978 (2007 US exclusive 11-track CD album, the definitive collection of studio recordings from the legendary New York 'No Wave' group, only active for a brief period in the late 70s, but vastly influential nonetheless for their violently physical approach to sound and the deconstruction thereof! These recordings were originally released on limited edition 7" and 12" singles [alongside the group's contribution to the legendary Brian Eno-produced 'No New York' compilation LP], which disappeared without trace; now [supervised by the surviving members], they have been remastered from original sources and packaged with detailed notes and lyrics in an effort to showcase the group's legacy, presented in sealed & stickered digipak sleeve)
