THE CEYLEIB PEOPLE Tanyet (US limited edition 12-track LP pressed on 160gram VINYL, originally released in 1967 and featuring a young Ry Cooder on guitar, fresh from playing on Captain Beefheart's 1st LP 'Safe As Milk' - indeed, some of the Captain's obtuse blues seems to have been transferred to these sessions, mixed in with the Eastern vibe fashionable at the time, hopping from guitar riffs to sitar drones to mellotron rambling and back without regard for convention, sealed picture sleeve with superb period artwork by Rick Griffin)
