JOHN FAHEY Selections By John Fahey & Blind Joe Death (US limited edition 11-track LP pressed on HIGH DEFINITION PREMIUM 180gram VIRGIN VINYL, originally released in an extremely limited edition in 1959, then reissued in 1964, this was Fahey's first longplayer which he recorded and released himself, presenting his unique style, combining finger picked blues guitar with the dissonance of contemporary classical composers, while establishing the fakepersona of 'Blind Joe Death', a humourous nickname given to Fahey by his friends.
