BOYD RICE Boyd Rice (UK 9-track LP pressed on Heavyweight Vinyl, originally released in 1977, this was the debut from the self-styled 'King Of Noise', recorded between December 1975 & January 1976, Rice pioneered 'noise' and 'industrial' music using found sounds and samples played at ear-splitting volume levels, also using the medium of conveying sound as an instrument itself, utilising locked grooves, releasing singles with 2-4 centre holes for 'multiaxial rotation'; this particular album is 'playable at any speed'!
