Wings Greatest - Full Page Music Week Ad

WINGS Wings Greatest (Stunning 20" x 15" Hipgnosis colour artwork lay-up for full page Music Week magazine advert. The front cover is dated 17th December with layout details. The overlay has the text 'Wings Greatest' along with the album tracklisting, the formats, catalogue number plus MPL & EMI logos. The final sheet has a full colour print measuring approximately 16"x16".The sleeve design was by Paul & Linda alongside Aubrey Powell & George Hardie of Hipgnosis with photography by Angus Forbes. Linda had bought the model of a flying lady, and had it flown to the Alps for the photographs. A snowdrift was created and the photography was done from a helicopter.
