A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

DAVID BOWIE Space Oddity (50th anniversary edition of Bowie's seminal album featuring a brand new mix by original producer Tony Visconti, and a new die cut O-card picture sleeve. Originally released 14thNovember 1969, the sophomore effort fromBowie was a big turning point from his 1967 debut. The album most famously introduces the character of Major Tom in 'Space Oddity' which would go on to be one of his most enduring classics. The new mixof the album now features the title trackof the boxset 'Conversation Piece' restored to the track listing in its initially intended position before it was originally dropped due to time constraints of vinyl. The vinyl for this 50th anniversary edition has been randomly distributed worldwide with a mixture of hand-numbered labels; numbers 1 to 1969 are SILVER vinyl and numbers 1970 to 2019 are GOLD vinyl, with the remainder being un-numbered BLACK vinyl. This example remains brand new & unplayed with its original shrink intact - it has been opened along the top edge to confirm the vinyl colour, which is BLACK. DBSOLP50)

#Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time

Tracklisting: Condition White is not the best of colours for a sleeve, especially over fifty years on. The sleeve shows a little light edge scuffing and moderate shelfwear. It retains a nice bright 'off-white' Ivory colour, not the dark cream or orange usually found. There is some ring wear to the front and reverse with no serious scuffs or scrapes. It is numbered '0070094'. Overall, it is an acceptable & sturdy example. This example only light creasing. The orginal black die-cut inners are present with obvious wear/tearing. The vinyl has obviously been played and shows some light scuffs and hairlines to show previous play. A certain amount of background noise The card photo portraits and poster are free of pin holes, despiteshould be expected in quieter passages and between tracks. The Matrices all end -1. OK, this is a fair way from Mint but it remains respectable for a first press Mono copy of this album, which sold in far fewer numbers than the stereo release. An opportunity to complete your collection at an advantageous price. Tracklisting 01. Back In The U.S.S.R. 02. Dear Prudence 03. Glass Onion 04. Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da 05. Wild Honey Pie 06.
