MOODY BLUES Never Comes the Day (Rare circa 1969 UK one sided 7" metal based acetate for their only single released from the album, On The Threshold Of A Dream. This acetate has an Emidisc branded label with hand annotated artist name & title, within a plain die-cut paper sleeve. There is a small chip to the outer edge where the coating has come away from the aluminium base, this is a common problem with acetates of this age and affects the first few seconds of the track. The playing surface has some minor marks, but we have cleaned with distilled water to remove the many years of dirt and dust build up. MOODY BLUES From The Bottom Of My Heart (Rare circa 1965 French manufatured one sided 7" metal based acetate for the classic Denny Laine sung single, pressed by Pyral, the company that invented the lacquer coated master disc process for the production of vinyl record masters, with their lacquer formula licensed to EMI UK who produced the 'Emidisc' brand of lacquer discs. The playing side has a partial label with the artist name in black & song title in blue hand annotation. This example remains in very good condition with some minor surface marks, we have cleaned with distilled water and play tested and can confirm this plays through without issues and just a small amount of deterioration in sound quality.
