A FEW OF THE ITEMS WE WANT...

JULIAN'S TREATMENT / JULIAN JAY SAVARIN Waiters On The Dance (Rare 1971 UK 6-track Sci-Fi Stereo vinyl LP by Julian Jay Savarin with his band, featuring the voice of ex-Catapilla vocalist Jo Meek & some sterling organ & mellotron work by Julian, resulting in a heavier psychedelic vision of the future than the first album. Julian initially envisaged a concept trilogy, but the third album was never made. Nonetheless, Julian went on to become a very successful Sci-Fi writer, so all was not lost. If you like psychedelic progtastic sci-fi rock, then this is an album for you. This copy includes the exceptionally rare International Times insert for the first book of the Lemmus trilogy enclosed inside the fully textured picture sleeve. See 'more info' for condition details... RAB2)

Tracklisting: Tracklist:- Child Of The Night Stranger The Death Of Alda Dance Of The Golden Flamingoes Cycle Soldiers Of Time NB - The Album is credited to Julian's Treatment on the labels, but just Julian Jay Severin on the sleeve. Condition:- Obtained from a reviewer's archive, this low mileage example is in Excellent condition allround. The sleeve was never laminated but retains its vivid colours & natural beauty. There is a 'dymotape' sticker to the top corner, which was used to catalogue the sprawling archive, otherwise this example is Excellent with just a 2mm split to the opening on the reverse and no real sign of wear to the front; the insert is Near Mint. The vinyl has an incredible deep sheen both sides & is easily in Excellent condition. The matrices are machine stamped A1/B1 in the run-outs & there is just a few spindle marks by the centre hole to indicate play. The vinyl itself exhibits just a handful of faint scuffs, nothing to trouble playback. Highly recommended.
JULIAN'S TREATMENT A Time Before This (Rare 1970 US 13-track Sci-Fi stereo LP by Julian Savarin with his band, featuring the haunting vocals of Cathy Pruden & some sterling organ & mellotron work by Julian, resulting in an atmospheric yet not-quite-prog psychedelic vision of a future inhabited by blue skinned people & megalomaniac aliens. Sounds right up my alley! Julian initially envisaged a concept trilogy, with the second album 'Waiters on the Dance' finally being issued in 1973. Sadly it never did come to fruition as the third album was never made. Nonetheless, Julian went on to become a very succesful Sci-Fi writer, so all was not lost. If you like psychedelic progtastic sci-fi rock, then this is an album for you. The gatefold picture sleeve has artwork exclusive to the US release which is pretty mindblowing in itself. The sleeve shows minimal shelfwear & the vinyl too shows just a couple of light cosmetic surface marks - Not bad for nearly forty years! DL75224)

Tracklisting: 1 First Chapter: First Prophecy "First Oracle" 2 Second Chapter: "The Coming Of The Mule" 3 Third Chapter: "Phantom City" 4 Fourth Chapter: "The Black Tower" 5 Fifth Chapter: "Alda, Dark Lady Of The Outer Worlds" 6 Sixth Chapter: "Altarra, Princess Of The Blue Women" 7 Seventh Chapter: Second Prophecy "Second Oracle" 8 Eight Chapter: Part One: "Twin Suns Of Centauri" 9 Part Two: "Alkon, Planet Of Centauri" 10 Ninth Chapter: "The Terran" 11 Tenth Chapter: "Fourth From The Sun" 12 Eleventh Chapter: "Strange Things" 13 Twelfth Chapter: Epilogue "A Time Before This" 14 Child Of The Night 1 + 2 15 Stranger 16 The Death Of Alda 17 Cycles 18 Soldiers OfTime
