A FEW OF THE ITEMS WE WANT...
| PAUL GONSALVES AND HAROLD ASHBY Tenor Stuff (Rare 1962
UK-only 8-track MONO LP on the dark green & gold Columbia
label in the collectable Lansdowne Jazz Series, front laminate
flipback pictur esleeve. Inspired by Coleman Hawkins & Ben
Webster's success as a duo, this is the first time on record
Gonsalves & Ashby paired up for a great set of standards &
ballads of their own, including Quincy Jones' Midnight Sun plus
the Gonsalves original London Broil, unique front laminated
flipback picture sleeve. The cover is still largely off white on
the back, with secure flipbacks & all text clearly legible, the
spine looks glorious. There are a couple of tiny scuffs at the
edges of the laminate, barely noticeable. A beautiful cover,
very close if not Excellent. The vinyl grades Excellent with no
concerns & merely the very lightest few paper scuffs not
affecting play. Recommended 33SX1379)

creasing at the corners, but the extremely heavyweight vinyl remains
in very respectable VG+/EX- condition with just light surface scuffs to
show for its fiftyyears. An acceptable, if not mint, copy at an
advantaggeous price MLP15073)
