THE SMITHS Shoplifters Of The World Unite (Very rare 1987
UK uncut thick card printer proof artwork for the 12" vinyl
front and reverse sleeve with colour bar, written annontations
and measuring 25" x 14". Superb Smiths collectable obtained
from a former industry employee that includes the following
hand-written text above the title, "Moz sez it's a winner,
except....", the exception being the inclusion of extra guitarist
Craig Gannon's name being on the sleeve! A little bit of Smiths
history if ever-there-was! This item has been folded but has
stood the test of time remarkably well with very little signs of
wear - another Smiths one-off looking for a frame and a wall
at the earliest opportunity!)

THE SMITHS Shoplifters Of The World Unite Proof Artwork
(Stunning and very rare 1986 UK uncut artwork proof for the
7" vinyl front and reverse sleeve. Incredible collectable which
illustrates how this was very much a work in progress for the
band; original A-side 'You Just haven't Heard It Yet Baby' is
crossed out with a note stating 'Shopl' written beside it,
indicating that 'Shoplifters' had now won the battle to be
RT195's A-side, extra guitarist Craig Gannon's name is also
crossedout (he hadn't actually played on the record), and
John Porter's production credit is replaced by none other than
Johnny Marr, add in a range of hand written annotations and
you have a very rare window into the world of the Smiths
circa 1986. Measuring 15" x 25" the item has been folded and
there is some light creasing to the bottom edge evident, but
nothing excessive - needless to say, there can only be a
handful of these in existence and this is the first we have ever
had!)

THE SMITHS Shoplifters Of The World Unite (Stunning 1986 UK
unfolded uncut card printer proof for the 7" vinyl front and reverse
sleeve with colour bar. Withdrawn due to the error of crediting Craig
Cannon on second guitar even though he hadn't played on the record.
Measuring 15" x 8" this is a great piece of artwork that would look
stunning framed. With most pieces destroyed it is likely that this is one
of only a small handful left in existence - WOW!!)
